About the Chef

Chef Janet attended the Natural Gourmet Cookery School in New York City, founded by Annemarie Colbin, where she received her Chef Training Certificate. The program emphasis is on whole foods and grains, organic products whenever possible, a mainly vegetarian menu and a health supportive diet.

Early in her cooking career Chef Janet interned with Author/Chef Myra Kornfeld developing recipes as well cooking at the Garrison Institute in NY. For the last 10 years she has worked exclusively as a personal chef to families.
